About the role
In this role, you will act as the pivot or intermediary between end-users and People & Culture (P&C) to ensure that business/user requirements are delivered in technology solutions as we undertake a digital transformation within P&C.
This includes leading the gathering and analysis of Ampol Group business objectives and requirements, preparation of high level process and system designs, identification and recommendation of solutions, assessment of business impact, and the development of clearly defined Business Cases - in partnership with business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Provide methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of high-level business requirements and traceability matrix, to a level that enables effective identification, and recommendation of successful solutions
Provide business process input to propose solutions, in consultation with business stakeholders, Solution Architects, other IT groups and external parties.
Work with users and Architects, particularly on larger projects, to define the requirements of an application and specify a high-level design for subsequent build
Maintain a watching brief on technologies so as to be able to provide input to direction setting – including changes to regulatory frameworks
About you:
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organisational skills and the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet/exceed customer needs. You will have the ability to engage stakeholders and influence change, and to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation.
Key skills and experience:
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as Business, IT, Business Analyst Certification) or significant equivalent workplace experience.
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certified
Knowledge of using Jira and Confluence
Visio or Miro for workflow diagrams
Extensive experience in Business Analysis in a large corporate business
Proven experience in successful development of Business Cases
Proven experience and track record in the successful implementation of P&C projects particularly HCM, RTA & Payroll Solutions
