Job Description
Business Analyst - Transformation
Brisbane
12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Are you a generalist BA who thrives in high-pace environments? Do you look at a complex problem and see three potential solutions before others have finished reading the brief?
At Airbus, we are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to join our transformation journey on a 12-month fixed term contract. This isn't a role for someone who wants to stay in one lane; it's for a versatile professional who can pivot between workstreams, master new contexts quickly, and drive operational excellence across a global organization.
The Role
As a critical bridge between operational needs and technical execution, you will lead the charge in gathering requirements, analysing gaps, and supporting the implementation of large scale transformation initiatives. You will operate within a structured governance framework and will be instrumental in the successful design and development of solutions. This includes leading analysis activities for new business processes, product enhancements, and operational process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead workshops and interviews to elicit functional/non-functional requirements and translate them into high-quality BRDs and user stories.
Conduct AS-IS and TO-BE analysis to navigate the transition to new ways of working.
Assist with pilot implementations, process adoption, and data-driven reporting to support continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Mastery: Build deep, collaborative relationships with operational leaders and external partners to identify improvement opportunities.
Identify dependencies and gaps across workstreams, contributing proactively to mitigation strategies.
Experience in Risk and Compliance domain would be an added advantage
Who You Are

5+ years in Business Analysis, Process Mapping, or Business Improvement.
Good understanding of Risk and Compliance in a regulated environment
Expert in root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams) and PMO activities.
Proven ability to switch contexts quickly and manage a complex portfolio of tasks simultaneously.
