Job Description
We are streamlining diverse business flows by developing a suite of internal tools. This role is equal parts process thinker, UX-minded builder, and systems integrator. You will design and develop the web-based applications, workflows, and interfaces that allow our teams to work smarter, with AI woven in as a force multiplier. You will work closely with our AI Solutions Catalyst, ERP, WMS, and EDI Leads to bring AI-powered capabilities to life through polished, intuitive interfaces — building on and extending our existing platforms without disrupting what works. This is a role for someone who walks into a broken process and sees not just a problem, but an elegant solution waiting to be built. The right person for this role will see spreadsheets being passed around and feel productive frustration. If that's you, we'd like to talk.
What You'll Do
Process Design & Workflow Development
Partner with business stakeholders and IT leads to implement custom, database-enabled solutions
Build workflow engines, approval chains, status tracking, and notification systems that bring structure and accountability to legacy manual processes
Enable AI connectivity across business flows
UX/UI & Application Development
Design and build easy-to-use and secure internal web portals and extranet-facing tools with user experience as a primary goal
Develop well-structured web forms, data grids, dashboards, and status views that make complex information easy to act on
Produce clean, professional report outputs and automated notifications that replace manually assembled email distributions
Systems Integration & API Connectivity
Leverage and extend existing data within our ERP, WMS, and EDI systems
Support workflow visibility and exception handling through purpose-built interfaces
Integrate AI APIs (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) into application workflows, handling inputs, outputs, and user-facing result presentation
Design clean, well-documented integration patterns that are resilient and maintainable
Data & Back-End Development
Design and build SQL Server databases that give structure to data currently scattered across spreadsheets and inboxes
Develop robust back-end APIs in .NET (C#) that serve as the foundation for application and AI workflows
Use Python for data pipelines, automation scripts, and AI integration layers
Write code that future developers — and future you — will be glad to work with
What You Bring
Experience
4+ years of professional full-stack development, with a portfolio that demonstrates both technical quality and UX thoughtfulness
Strong proficiency in C# / ASP.NET Core for back-end and API development
Solid front-end skills — React or Blazor; the ability to build something that looks and feels good is non-negotiable
Competency with Microsoft SQL Server — design, querying, T-SQL, and data modeling
Experience integrating with external systems via REST APIs; comfort figuring out under documented interfaces
Python proficiency for scripting, data work, and AI integration
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft 365 integration
Exposure to AI/LLM API integration in production applications
Familiarity with enterprise ERP or WMS environments — not as a specialist, but enough to have informed conversations with people who are
Experience with ETL or data pipeline work
Success Looks Like
Business users abandoning email threads and spreadsheets in favor of tools they actually prefer
Processes that were invisible and error-prone becoming structured, trackable, and auditable
AI capabilities that the AI Solutions Catalyst designs showing up in interfaces that people find intuitive and trustworthy
A growing internal platform where each new tool benefits from the foundation the previous ones established
