Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an all-round opportunity to be involved with sourcing and selling of pharma and chemical products.
The incumbent will play an active role in sourcing API’s, excipients and chemical products as
well as managing the supplier relationships related to them. They will also be involved in
developing, sourcing and negotiating prices with suppliers.
The incumbent would also be required to coordinate with the manufacturer and generate
documentation as required by the customer.
Responsible for the technical aspects and quality of the product. Testing at a third party lab
and coordinating with the lab will be required.
Look up secondary sources for information on the use and efficacy of the products as may be
called for.
Developing and sourcing products would entail studying and analysing industry data related
to production and exports thereof.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong understanding of industry-specific documentation and regulatory requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
