Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field
Must have 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience as an IT Consultant or Engineer in the Building Materials industry
The 2 years of experience must include experience with creating scalable and efficient process automations; automating business processes using Automation Anywhere; finance, procurement and operations business processes; RPA (Robotic Process Automation) processes including requirements gathering, solution designing, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation; integrating RPA workflows; leading training sessions in the use of RPA tools and best practices; building and deploying Robotic Process Automations; delivering new automated processes to replace manual processing; and identifying and designing appropriate automation workflows; and agile methodologies
Responsibilities
Serve as the technical architect and lead for automation solutions working on high-profile and complex automation projects to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects
Define which project deliverables have enough value to be documented in the knowledge databases
Oversee the end-to-end automation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
Ensure compliance with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) best practices, standards, and security protocols
Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on the status of RPA projects
Ensure governance framework is followed so all automation projects are driven, managed, and controlled in an effective manner to expected standards
Support the creation of process maps and Process Design Documents (PDDs) for handoff to the RPA development team for automation of processes and support the development team as needed to ensure successful deployment
Implement innovative solutions while exhibiting a commitment to detail, timelines, thoroughness, and quality
Ensure that technical designs, project plans, release notes, and other project information are effectively documented to support development, security, operations, and maintenance
Direct Automation Anywhere release cycles, products, and services, and align with internal platform upgrades
Manage and support bots’ performance and scheduling, with high SLSs for some areas that are customer-facing
Maintain awareness and understanding of the business unit recovery plan for the robotic process automation area
Build and maintain strong relationships with the business and IT organization
Manage vendor relationships to gain efficiencies, strengthen relationships, and ensure optimal utilization of the vendor’s platform and resources
Develop profitable business relationships
Participate in the development of value proposals, understanding the client’s needs, expectations, and objectives
Research, recommend, and implement new processes and technology
