• Map the segments to understand potential addressable market in the area assigned and formulate strategies for maximizing business share.Identify and implement Somfy POS branding strategy at select furnishing stores in the assigned territory. Train and engage sales staff of these furnishing stores for developing their comfort level and confidence on Somfy solutions.Generate project leads and develop relationships with target customers I.e. Architects/ Interior designers/ Project developers. Enhance product awareness and brand visibility in the market. Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
• Fulfill Area sales budget By achieving sales and collection targets for the Area. Managing business from existing customers and developing a well-balanced customer's portfolio. By working closely with customers to ensure business growth along with these customers & managing business from customers profitably. By Supporting the Distributor in Expanding the Business and keeping a regular check on their performance.
• Develop market for long-term and down stream strategy as aligned to the marketing plan and implementing the same, By identifying and appointing potential partners in Experts (Retail showrooms).By working with B2C partners for point of sales branding activity. Compiling database of Architects / Interior Decorators in the assigned territory. Educating Architect / ID teams regarding various solutions offered by Somfy along with their accompanying benefits. By implementing marketing activities planned along with the customers for demand generation. By working closely with customers to lead the pull strategy for brand. By proposing appropriate strategy for distribution business focused at generating brand pull for long term business gain. Arranging marketing events in the territory in line with Somfy marketing strategy.
Qualifications
• Retail Sales experience.
• Should have experience of selling technical products.
• 6 – 10 years of similar experience in the Building, Construction, Lighting, Automation, Furniture, Flooring or Home Accessories Industry.
• Relevant product and industry knowledge.
• Experience in networking with Furnishing Stores, Architects, Builders, Contractors, Developers etc.
• Basic IT knowledge
• Self Starter with high level of energy. Proven sales track record and Drive for results.
• Problem analysis and problem solving. Commercial aggressiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organization and planning. Formal presentation skills. Conviction and courage. Decision – making
