Position Overview

This role is responsible for delivering unit and volume growth by developing

sustainable and commercially viable relationships with Brokers. Our team takes

great pride in educating and guiding our Brokers through transactions for their SME

clients. A sale is great, but a return Broker is even better and we are committed to

earning business that lasts a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage a portfolio of Brokers for the designated territory through

proactive, targeted outbound calling & prospecting of Accredited Brokers

Qualify & convert non accredited to accredited brokers and non transacting

to transacting brokers

Communicate application outcomes to a broker

Follow up on leads and maintain an active pipeline daily

Educate Brokers and handle customers objections

Assist with Events (as needed)

Conduct Webinars with Brokers (as needed)

Exceeding daily, weekly and monthly KPI's and sales targets

Explaining the key benefits of On Deck with potential Brokers

Effective note taking on all Broker interactions and input into CRM systems

Qualifications and Skills Desired:

Sales experience in a predominately phone based environment.

Minimum of 1.5 years of professional experience

Experience working with Brokers or third party origination channels highly

desirable

A lot of energy, passion, humour, compassion, and enthusiasm

A great personality with superior communications skills

Focus on your goals and have a real desire to succeed

Powerful work ethic and strong interpersonal skills

Demonstrate high degrees of diligence and accountability

Ability to exercise your own judgement and discretion while working

independently
