Roles & Responsibilities:
Candidate should be passionate about selling IT infrastructure products and services to B2B market segment.
Work with the marketing & sales team to develop a strong sales pipeline and preparation of client database.
Identifying Business Opportunities: Candidate will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities. This involves conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and identifying areas where the company's products or services can be effectively positioned.
Lead Generation and Prospecting: Candidate will be responsible for generating leads and prospecting potential clients. This may involve cold calling, networking, attending industry events, leveraging online platforms, and utilizing various marketing strategies to identify and engage with potential customers.
Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is crucial. One should understand the needs and requirements of clients and ensure that the company's offerings align with their goals. Will be responsible for managing client accounts, addressing their concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: One must collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and project management to ensure effective communication and alignment of business strategies. Will work closely with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals for clients.
Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation: Will be responsible in preparing and presenting proposals to clients, highlighting the value proposition of the company's products or services. Will be involved in negotiating contract terms and pricing to secure profitable deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Achieving Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals is a primary responsibility. One is expected to develop and execute sales strategies, monitor sales performance, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure objectives are met.
Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: Staying updated with the market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies is essential. One should gather market intelligence, analyse competition, and identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation to stay ahead in the industry.
Reporting and Analytics: Will be required to prepare regular reports, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress, identify trends, and provide insights to the management team. Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Should be willing to travel in relation with the client meetings and promotion activities.
Attend/host meetings, workshops, promotional events, and exhibitions as company’s representative.
Responsible for effective account management, retention of subscriptions.
Contribute to company strategy and product development via client feedback.
Strong negotiation skill for sales closures.
Requirements:
Experience in IT related and B2B sales especially in Telecom, Server Hardware or Datacenter products/services.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excel, preparation of marketing collaterals and CRM software.
Excellent oral and written communication (English and Hindi), presentation and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in IT infrastructure sales, lead generation, cold calling, email promotions, etc.
Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills.
Education: MBA/ PGDM (Marketing) / B.Tech / B.E. / BSc - Computers
Experience: 1-3 years in IT Sales / Datacenter / Web hosting is preferable.
