Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Research and identify potential clients, industries, and markets to expand the agency's client base. Proactively reach out to prospects through various channels, such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and industry conferences.
Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize client satisfaction and retention. Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Continuously assess client needs and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell agency services.
Proposal development and negotiation: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of clients. Collaborate with the agency's creative and strategy teams to develop innovative and effective advertising solutions. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure new business.
Market research and analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies within the advertising and marketing sector. Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business expansion or service enhancements. Analyze market data to develop strategies that give the agency a competitive edge.
Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the agency's account management, creative, and production teams to ensure the successful execution of advertising campaigns. Provide valuable insights and client feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
Sales reporting and forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM software. Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance against targets and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Industry networking: Build a strong professional network by attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Actively engage with industry associations and organizations to enhance the agency's visibility and reputation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the advertising or marketing industry.
• Strong understanding of advertising principles, strategies, and trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive for achieving targets.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
• Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
