Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. As a BDE focused on field sales for smart automation solutions, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, acquiring, and managing new business opportunities. You will work closely with customers, prospects, and internal teams to understand their needs and provide tailored home automation solutions. This position requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the home automation industry.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Identify and prospect potential customers in the residential sector who could benefit from smart automation solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, architects, builders, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders in the industry.
Conduct in-depth consultations with customers to understand their requirements, pain points, and objectives for smart automation.
Present and demonstrate our smart automation solutions effectively, showcasing their features, benefits, and value proposition.
Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, installation, and support, to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitors to identify new market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the sales manager or senior management.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote our home automation solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Should have a minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of total work experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications will be a plus.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the home automation industry or a similar field.
Strong understanding of smart automation technologies, including smart lighting, security systems, HVAC control, and audio/video integration.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to sales.
Solid presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others effectively.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience with CRM software and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Sales experience with an electrical background is an added advantage.
Should have experience with selling automation / smart automation products.
Education Qualification: Doesn't matter if above specifications are met.
CTC: INR 3,60,000 - 5,00,000 LPA.
