About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence, and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference
2. Research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference
3. Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors when required
4. Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors, and exhibitors
5. Update the company Maximizer database as required
6. Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached
7. Assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities
8. Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines
+. Delegate administrative functions to assistants where possible
10. Meet with trade and professional organizations and other groups to organize, promote and discuss Maxpo conference/trade show services
11. Represent Maxpo at conferences at all times
Who can apply:
1. Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve issues independently
2. Ability to establish and master goals
3. Ability to identify and develop accounts
4. Ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision
5. Business Administration or equivalent degree, with 2-4 years experience in sponsorship & exhibit or corporate sales
