Position Overview:We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Executive (BDE) with expertise in the field of home automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding market presence in the home automation sector. This role requires a combination of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and a deep understanding of home automation solutions, including Wired (KNX) & Wireless products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends opportunities, and potential customers in the home automation industry, specifically focusing on Wired (KNX) & Wireless products.
• Analyse market data, customer feedback, and competitor strategies to develop effective sales and marketing strategies tailored to the home automation sector.
• Lead Generation and Prospecting:
• Generate leads through site visits of prospect and existing clientele (from each project or inquiry exploring relation business of Architect, Builders, Contractors, Interior Designer and Consultants), referrals, and online n other platforms, with a specific focus on clients interested in premium home automation solution.
• Prospect and qualify potential clients to understand their specific needs, challenges, and requirements related to home automation solutions.
• Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, builders, and other key stakeholders in the home automation industry, emphasizing the benefits of Smart Home systems.
• Understand client requirements and preferences to provide customized solutions and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Solution Presentation and Proposal Development:
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and advantages of smart home automation solutions to clients.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to meet the specific needs and budgetary constraints of clients seeking smart home systems.
• Sales Pipeline Management:
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, tracking progress, managing follow-ups, and ensuring timely completion of sales activities.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless delivery.
• Market Expansion and Business Growth:
• Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to the client and to their contacts.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and maximize revenue growth.

Qualifications and Requirements::
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or Sales Manager in the home automation industry, with a strong understanding of wired and wireless home automation products.
• In-depth knowledge of home automation technologies, including KNX and Wi-Fi solutions.
• Proven track record of success in business development, sales, B2C Marketing roles, mainly smart home automation industry.
• Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the KNX, Zigbee, and Wi-Fi home automation market segments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of KNX, Zigbee, and Wi-Fi products to clients and key stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tools.
• Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.

Must Have:

1. Should have a minimum of 1+ years of relevant home automation experience and 2+ years of total work experience.

2. Willing to travel (within the city) to meet prospects and clients minimum 10 per week.

3. Effective communication is key in this role. should be able to articulate the value proposition of your company's products and services clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.

4. Committing to work for minimum 2 years

5. Target oriented and achieve the defined sales target Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly / Yearly.

Good to Have:

1. Good connect with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders & other influencers

2. Sales Closing techniques.

3. Collaborative team players, align with marketing, product, customers support.

4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitors to identify new market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

CTC : INR 500000 - 600000 PA.

Should join by: Immediate

Industry Type: Home Automation & AV, Building Automation

Working hours (Indicative) +:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday, +:30am to 5:30pm on Saturday. Alternatively, flexible hours may be considered for proven salespersons who have met their targets.
