Position: Business Development Executive

Location: Gurgaon/Mumbai/Bangalore

Job Purpose

The position will be responsible for driving business development and front end-sales for the Electronic division of ASSA ABLOY in the North Region. The position will be responsible for actively promoting the ASSA ABLOY range of Electromechanical and Electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in the system integration channel.

What will you do:
• Support channel partners to promote and sell ASSA ABLOY electro-mechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in a team selling environment
• Develop plans for increasing Elmech and EAC sales in territory in conjunction with distributor and system integrator’s team
• Certify system integrators’ sales, installation and support capabilities through formal hands-on product training which also includes ongoing assessment and development of their skills to ensure ability to properly represent and promote ASSA ABLOY’s product portfolio
• Facilitate specification of ASSA ABLOY’s product portfolio in large project by engaging MEP consultant, architects and contractors by successfully presenting the concept, technical details and feasibility study
• Act as an interface between customer and factory to provide the customised product as per requirement and thrive to constantly improve the product and processes
• Constantly engage with the customers for repeat business; and provide required commercial, marketing and strategic support to the existing accounts
• Work constantly to acquire new clients, retain as well as expand the scope of existing clients
• Plan and implement lead generation activities through various means and develop new contacts
• Handle pilot/mock ups of products and educate the key stakeholders on technical aspects

Who you are:
• Graduate Engineer with specialization in Computer/Electronics; MBA from a reputed institute would be an added advantage
• 3 – 4 years of experience with atleast 2 years of experience in Electronic Access Control or Electronic Locks or ELV Industry
• Strong customer focus
• Strong drive to deliver high growth
• Basic knowledge of Electronic Access Control domain
• Should be a self-starter and should be able to shoulder responsibilities at critical times
• Good commercial acumen, relationship building and communication skills
• Ability to make effective conversations with system integrators, contractors, end customers and internal departments and channel partners
• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
