Purpose : To be involved in business generation and amplification, building relationships and promoting sales of products and services.
Context : Engages in lead generation and conversions: Prospect for potential new clients, understand the clients’ requirement, communicate the same to the project team and turn this into increased business.
Role Accountabilities :
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
• Maintaining the prospects, leads and follow up data within the CRM and other essential spreadsheets.
• Demonstrating and presenting products and services to the client.
• Creating a positive brand image/ awareness in the minds of the new prospective clients.
• Organising meetings with prospective clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
• Identify opportunities and present new products and services to existing clients.
• Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.
• Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify lead profiles.
• Enhance existing relationships by providing support, guidance and information through inhouse team.
• Preparing proposal documents and sales deck and other essential presentations for pitch.
• Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
• Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person towards closure and growing accounts.
• Developing sales goals for the team and company and ensuring they are met
• Participating and attending conferences, meetings, and industry events that help procure leads.
• Collaborating and overseeing new marketing initiatives with the marketing team.
Minimum Experience :
• Experience in business development and sales of services relating to brand building, digital marketing, graphic and website design, management consulting, business coaching.
• Experience in generating retainer business.
Minimum Entry Qualifications :
• Good English and communication skills.
• 5 years of minimum experience in BD
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Proven track record for business closures.
