Commission: Commission variable OTE £15,000.00 per annum

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our well-established B2B sales team at Kings Interhigh, an indepdendent online school, part of Inspired Education

Reporting to the Head of B2B International, you will drive the growth of our international agent network, building strong relationships with educational agents and student recruiters across the globe. You’ll take the lead in shaping our strategic approach to this important vertical, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring a consistent, quality-first approach to agent partnerships. From supporting and challenging agents to maintain brand excellence, to monitoring their performance and maximising outcomes, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of Inspired Online Schools worldwide.

As part of our B2B team, you’ll work to clear revenue targets, generating results through both direct agent sales and indirect channels, while contributing to the continued global growth of our online education offering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and deliver business opportunities within our target market(s)
Accurately forecast sales and growth based on business opportunities.
Fulfilment of all new business development calls including online and face to face presentations and demonstrations to target and identified prospects.
Promote and grow network of international agents and pupil recruiters
Support and cultivate agent activity through use of our Agent Portal
Managing and reporting on the agent and recruiter strategy and development plan.
Developing information, ideas, and research to drive sales and tactical marketing initiatives.
Developing effective working relationships at all levels with clients, channel partners and helping shape marketing partnerships.
Presenting regular performance data for the B2B team and line manager
Support and contribute to marketing planning and fulfilment of International b2b campaigns.
Attend and present at face-to-face academic recruitment conferences and exhibitions, including some international travel.
Maintaining and updating CRM with all lead, opportunity, and contract conversions in accordance with the company’s defined new business and account management processes
Manage existing clients, fielding queries and questions and identifying upsell opportunities for our products and services across our growing international client base.
Liaising with administration staff to ensure excellent customer service and record keeping.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

You will be an experienced and effective education sales and business development professional, with experience in either education, EdTech or an adjacent market. Demonstrable experience of developing commercial relationships within the international education space is preferable. Prior experience with agent and agency relationships is highly desirable, with some B2C experience in education an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to be develop tactical plans to support strategic objectives, identify and qualify and close new business opportunities and identify, qualify, and manage new business opportunities whilst developing and extending our relationships with existing clients.

Specifically, you will have: –
Previous business development experience in a growth environment, with a proven record of key account management.
Highly developed consultative sales skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into tangible service options.
Strong analytical skills, with a good diligence, enabling valuable contributions to decisions relating to the development of Inspired Online Schools offering in the marketplace.
Sound awareness of the educational technology space and how future trends will impact education.
A flexible, highly energetic approach and the ability to thrive in a business with a fast changing, collaborative, delivery culture.
Confidence to communicate to key internal and external stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to form good relationships both internally and externally with respective customers and partners.
The ability to work independently where necessary but in a collaborative team environment where appropriate.
