Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Business Developer to join our team at Aarambh. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth and success of our music-related productions. If you have a deep passion for music, a strong network in the industry, and a knack for creating business opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
• Identify, develop, and nurture strategic partnerships and business opportunities within the music industry, with a specific focus on hip-hop-related gigs and productions.
• Build and maintain relationships with artists, event organizers, music labels, and other stakeholders to facilitate collaborations and business ventures.
2. Market Research:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth within the music industry.
• Stay updated with the latest developments, emerging artists, and industry news in the hip-hop music scene.
3. Proposal and Pitching:
• Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to showcase Aarambh's capabilities and services to potential clients, partners, and sponsors.
• Effectively communicate the unique value proposition of Aarambh in the context of music-related events and productions.
4. Event Curation Support:
• Collaborate with the event curation team to bring innovative and engaging hip-hop music experiences to our audience.
• Assist in artist booking, negotiations, and logistics for music-related gigs and productions.
5. Revenue Generation:
• Develop revenue streams through sponsorships, ticket sales, merchandise, and other monetization avenues for music events and productions.
6. Networking:
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish and expand Aarambh's presence within the music community.
7. Reporting:
• Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, progress, and results to the management team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Music Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Proven track record of successful business development in the music industry, particularly in hip-hop.
• Strong network and relationships within the music industry, including artists, labels, event organizers, and sponsors.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for music and events.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding business targets.
