Solinas is a deep-tech/Climate-tech startup founded by alumni from IIT Madras and other reputed universities that solves the problems of water leakages and the elimination of manual scavenging in the water and sanitation Industry. The role
We are looking for an energetic BD Manager who will build our water and sanitation business with a go-getter attitude. We are looking for someone highly motivated, well-organized, & has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for handling the business & client interactions for the company. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Pursuing conversations with private contractors, municipalities and Industries to generate leads & identify markets
• Communicate with the tech team about market requirements and priorities for product development
• Align on the price point, and business model for the company suitable to launch the first product
Skills & experience required:
• Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience with B2B or B2G sales in selling hardware products or services; Bonus if you have worked in the NDE/pipeline/govt industry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Should be able to manage large clients
• Experience with tenders or dealing with govt contractors is a plus

Compensation:
Fixed CTC up in 6-12 LPA range with added incentives on achieving sales target & milestones
