About The Role
Joining as a Business Development Manager, you will identify and develop a sales strategy to deliver a customer pipeline and win new business from new customers and achieve profitable growth consistent with the company's targets. You will also initiate the company set-up in Australia, including an organisational structure as well as a new operation site.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
Sales: To identify, qualify and initiate quality opportunities with new customers targeting logistics companies (mainly forwarders) as well as pharmaceutical companies. Support and seize the opportunities from the increasing growth and demand for reliable temperature controlled transportation
Deliver and where possible exceed targets as set out in your KPI
Identify the potential business and right customers
Make sales call to customers
Find and design solutions for customers to catch new business
Create quotations
Put in place marketing activities: participation to exhibitions, communications to media
Maintain relationships with customers and ensure business stability
Maintain close working relationship with the company's HQ and global team
Company set-up
Search for a suitable site to keep stock, refurbish collected packaging and prepare ready to use services with a support from the global team
Support where necessary to have a correct set-up to do business in the country complying to local rules and regulations

Requirements
About You:
Must have full- working rights in Australia!
Bachelor Degree or equivalent, preferably of Science faculties
Must have prior experience in transport of pharmaceuticals products and logistics company
At least 3-5 years of experience in customer-fronting sales experience
Experienced in B2B Sales activity from identifying the potential customers, making sales call plan and appointments, delivering sales calls and sales pitch, finding solutions for the customers, following up customers
Preferably experienced in selling & marketing supply chain solutions focusing on warehousing & distribution services
Understanding of logistics & freight management market
Excellent communication skills
Strong sense of urgency and a hunter mentality in developing new sales activity
Can keep continuous passion to conclude the deals which sometimes require long project time
Maintains a positive ‘can-do’ approach
Good negotiation skills, with a grasp of the legal issues associated with contracts
Ability to be “customer-facing” for local and international clients and interpret their requirements, needs and planning
Have logical thinking and scientific approach with numbers
Maintains high work standards, integrity and autonomy
Strategic mind to play with various players and complex market situation
Entrepreneurial mindset who can work in a small company
