We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager with relevant experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strategic mindset coupled with hands-on execution capabilities. As a key player in our client-facing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive growth, build and maintain client relationships, and ensure the successful execution of our e-commerce solutions.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Client Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Strategic Development:
• Design and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive market expansion.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and inform strategy.
Business Growth:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse markets, including North America, the US, Europe, the Middle East, and India.
• Develop proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business and expand existing accounts.
Execution and Implementation:
• Oversee the execution of client strategies, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of e-commerce and quick commerce solutions.
• Monitor project progress, address any issues, and make adjustments as needed to meet client expectations and project goals.
Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Use insights from research to refine strategies and drive business development efforts.
Reporting and Performance Tracking:
• Track and report on business development activities, client engagement, and performance metrics.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements:
• 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related client-facing role within the e-commerce or retail industry.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on experience with executing e-commerce strategies and managing projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
