We have a rare opportunity for an emerging Business Development Manager to support our national Workplace practice. Based in Sydney, the role will work directly with Partner, Catherine Wilkinson and Head of Business Development, Zac Robinson.

This diverse role spans strategic business development (bids/tenders/quotes, capability statements, key client management, competitor analysis) as well as marketing and communications support (publications, marketing collateral), event management and desktop research
You will be required to strategise and drive client relationship management activities for key Workplace clients working collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the business and the wider team
Working directly with the practice group’s partners and the firm-wide Head of BD, this role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BD coordinator or consultant looking to take the next step in their career, or for a current manager looking for a more proactive, partner-facing, strategic role

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in business development working in the legal industry or other professional services environment
Experience supporting a Workplace, Employment, or similar professional practice will be considered advantageous to your application
You will need exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience in delivering strong written tender and capability documentation
A genuine interest in keeping up to date with the public and private sector Workplace trends and the implications for the firm and our key clients
