Responsibilities
As a sales head, the candidate will be responsible to generate new business into the company while managing and building the sales team.
• Communication skills to provide leadership to a team and support customers.
• Lead a customer through the sales process, determining needs, and closing the sale.
• Should have business knowledge to create realistic sales projections and objectives for the team.
• Should be able to liaise with other departments and people within the organization.
• Should manage a complete sales team and manage new business growth.
• Should manage and give visibility to the sales pipeline at every stage of development.
• Should be able to manage the process to reach the targets of the team.
• Define the approach for the overall sale of new business and account retention.
• Direct the Sales team in generating proposals that define a clear path to client satisfaction and revenue growth.
Skills
• 7+ years of relevant sales experience in the outbound and inbound sales process.
• Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others in them.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
• Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, including hardware, software, and IT services
