We uniquely equip our clients with the datamindset, skill set, and tools needed to be more impactful. We provide data capacity building and technical assistance for organizations to build a strong culture of learning. We work directly with organizations and teams, offering shared learning cohorts for grantees or nonprofit partners.

As a Business Development Manager at ResultsLab, you will play a crucial role in taking ResultsLab to the next level of growth by identifying new Nonprofit and Grantmaker partners. ResultsLab works with organizations to strengthen data practices and build a culture of learning that embraces data to drive program quality, stronger outcomes, and greater impact. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing and Business Partnerships and work closely with the Impact Services team - a group of ResultsLab consultants who work directly with ResultsLab customers providing evaluation services, training, and technical assistance to support data-informed decision-making.

Location: ResultsLab is based in Denver, Colorado, and is a fully remote organization with consultants across the nation and globally. We are seeking candidates in Washington state to help us grow our presence in the Seattle/Pacific Northwest area who share our passions for driving meaningful change in the social sector with developed connections, and a strong understanding of priorities within the philanthropic, government, and nonprofit sectors. While this position is remote, some travel throughout the greater Seattle area may be required for networking purposes.

OPPORTUNITY

ResultsLab seeks a Business Development Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for strengthening the social sector to better serve our communities. This role will be focused on the following activities:

Identify new nonprofit, philanthropic, and government grantmaking partners:

Cultivate relationships, building advocacy with leaders in the social sector
Speak to key strategic priorities for communities and explore ways to deepen impact
Drive conversations with key stakeholders and explore business partnership opportunities
Act as a liaison for ResultsLab, responding to nonprofits or philanthropic leaders who would like to learn more about our services
Leverage and grow your network to drive awareness and visibility for ResultsLab services
Build a network of strong partners and advocates
The Business Development Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Participate in outbound lead generation efforts and actions aligned with marketing campaigns and company goals
Conduct outreach to targeted prospects and effectively follow up on leads
Manage the inbound lead flow and pipeline management of leads and opportunities in CRM
Qualify leads through discovery calls and emails to continuously enhance pipeline value
Collaborate with the marketing team to build relationships and close sales.
Manage the end-to-end business development cycle from qualification to proposal to closure, achieving company goals
Use strong communication skills, (both written and verbal) ensuring clients and teammates are treated with the utmost professionalism.
Foster a team-player mentality and support as needed with cross-functional initiatives

Self-starter with 5-7 years of experience in a position securing driving strategic conversation with executive leadership, achieving growth goals, and deepening partnerships
Experience networking, connecting, and collaborating with Grantmakers and Nonprofits
Ability to listen, ask insightful questions, and be a thought partner to find ways to meet potential new customer needs
Strong follow-up to drive new partnerships by managing leads, qualifying needs, building a list, and cultivating a pipeline of potential customers
Comfortable being an independent contributor in a remote work environment
Strong communicator who can manage many projects simultaneously with varying priorities
Skills in CRM and Microsoft Office (HubSpot and LinkedIn Navigator experience preferred)

Salary Range & Benefits

Base Pay: $+0,000-$130,000 annually
Additional Pay: ResultsLab offers quarterly incentives based on company and individual performance
