The Business Development Manager will take the lead in the development and advancement of security solutions for the construction and vacant property industry. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of security and construction holding a proven track record of successful business development in the security / construction industry.
Salary Range: OTE: £40,000 - £60,000: high uncapped commission, quarterly bonus
High basic based on experience
The candidate must be able to commute to our Operations Centre in Bradford, West Yorkshire on a weekly basis and WFH/Remote Working is accepted
Elite Private Security are a national security contractor. We are looking for a new BDM to take the rains of our construction site security arm of the business to great growth across the UK. This position is a great start point with promotion progression available. Reporting directly to the MD during weekly meetings and regular phone calls
The BDM will play an important role in generating new business and sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and detail-oriented, as they must prioritise a high number of targets within a given sector. Candidates must possess strong analytical and strategic planning skills in order to successfully develop and pursue new leads
Position Objectives:
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and target audiences in the construction industry
• Develop sales strategies for marketing and proposing security solutions to the construction industry
• Establish and strengthen relationships with key contacts in safety, security and construction
• Develop and negotiate contracts for services and products
• Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations for new business opportunities
• Develop and execute implementation plans for successful project launches
• Regularly communicate with stakeholders regarding strategies, progress and results
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in the security construction industry is a must
• Proven track record of business development success in the construction industry
• Understanding of safety and security best practices appropriate for construction sites
• Track record of developing successful business partnerships in the security and/or construction industry
• Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills
• Excellent project management skills
