Position Summary:
The Business Development Rep is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic relationship development, new business acquisition, and account expansion. This role is highly focused on fire/smoke restoration opportunities, while supporting other restoration services as needed.
This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role designed for a motivated professional who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and owning a territory.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Generate new business through B2B prospecting, networking, and relationship building
Develop and maintain relationships with:
Insurance agents & adjusters
Property managers & commercial clients
HOAs, facilities managers, and contractors
Drive fire and smoke restoration project opportunities as a priority focus
Build and maintain a strong book of business
Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
Relationship Management
Conduct consistent in-person visits, calls, and follow-ups
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients during emergency situations
Maintain long-term partnerships to increase repeat and referral business
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop territory-specific growth strategies
Track all activity in CRM (copy provided tracking)
Prepare and present proposals and service agreements
Represent Sevco at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Brand & Market Presence
Increase awareness of Sevco’s fire/smoke restoration capabilities
Support marketing initiatives and community engagement
Participate in after-hours networking events as needed
Qualifications:
Required
3+ years of outside sales or business development experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong relationship-building and networking skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Preferred
Restoration industry experience (fire, water, smoke, mitigation)
Existing book of business or industry contacts
Experience with Xactimate, DASH, MICA, or CRM systems
IICRC certifications (Fire, Water, Mold) a plus
Background in construction, mitigation, or reconstruction

Compensation Disclosure
This position is compensated with a base salary plus commission (DOE).
