About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Rep to uncover and generate sales leads either by cold calling, social media (e.g., LinkedIn), emailing, etc. Candidate will be responsible for researching and influencing potential customers to purchase and implement our QMS products and services. A successful Business Development Rep must be friendly, persuasive and driven. You must be able to understand the prospect’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Research and generate leads by identifying quality management decision makers within small, mid and large-sized companies
Telephone prospecting and social media outreach to qualify leads from email campaign drill backs, ZoomInfo, Web traffic, etc.
Call into existing prospect and customer database to generate net new and aftermarket leads and pass on sales team
Expectation: 50 outgoing phone calls per day, with email follow-up; create 12-16 Quality leads per month
Call existing prospects and customers to encourage their attendance to regularly scheduled sales webinars and user conferences
Develop monthly marketing content for outreach messaging to prospects and customers alike
Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
Use scripts to provide information about our product’s features, upcoming sales webinars and present key benefits
Ask qualifying questions to understand the prospect’s requirements
Persuade the prospect to take the next step by arranging a phone appointment using company webinar tool, or to register for a regularly scheduled sales webinar
Input the prospect’s contact information accurately in our CRM
Go the “extra mile” to meet lead quota and facilitate future sales
Manage social media posts on Linked-in
Analyze uniPoint survey results and compile/report on marketing metrics
Requirements:
Winnipeg-area resident & Canadian citizen
English is primary language
Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role with software company
Knowledge of QMS or ERP Software
Proven track record in successfully meeting lead generation quotas via phone
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Persistent and results-oriented
Marketing or business degree a plus
