Responsibilities
1. Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
2. Find new ways of reaching existing markets and generate new business leads
3. Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, partnerships, products and services
4. Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
5. Identify partnership opportunities
6. Foster and develop relationships with the respective clients/prospective clients
7. Understand the needs of the clients and devise a plan to respond effectively
8. Nurture and develop relationships with key customer accounts
+. Attending face-to-face meetings with clients, seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
10. Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
11. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
Qualifications/Skills
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
· MBA from a reputed institute
· 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
· Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
· Focused and goal-oriented
· Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
· Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
· Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
· Strong time management and organizational abilities
