Position Summary
The Business Development & Marketing position supports the firm’s client acquisition and retention goals through strategic branding, messaging, lead generation, and client communication initiatives. This role enhances advisor productivity by managing marketing programs, strengthening brand presence, and driving prospect engagement across multiple channels. The position oversees marketing strategy, business development activities, and compliance in support of firm-wide growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Awareness
Marketing Collateral – Print & Media
Oversee production and distribution of marketing brochures, advertising, and promotional materials.
Partner with Compliance and the Marketing Manager to ensure communications meet Wilson Wealth Advisors (WWA) brand and regulatory standards.
Ensure cohesive and consistent branding across all office locations.
Create and distribute the Monthly Newsletter for clients and staff.
Marketing Collateral – Gifts & Merchandise
Execute all gift-related tasks in CRM, including research, ordering, tracking, and cost-saving vendor analysis.
Maintain the Compliance Tracker, ensuring gift entries are recorded within one week.
Monitor annual client gift limits and ensure firm-wide compliance.
Manage merchandise inventory and ensure marketing supplies are available for events and miscellaneous needs.
Digital & Online Presence
Oversee website communications, branding, and location signage.
Assist with social media initiatives, including content creation, publishing, and performance analysis.
Maintain advisor website performance
Manage team Facebook profile: boosted posts, engagement, likes, and culture-focused content.
Advertising
Execute advertising initiatives and coordinate with ad agencies and local support teams as needed.
Business Development, Lead Generation & Conversion
Events
Coordinate, promote, and execute event initiatives across all WWA offices to support prospect generation and engagement.
Digital Prospecting
Lead and manage LinkedIn and Facebook, driving digital visibility and engagement.
Marketing on Demand (MOD)
Create targeted marketing campaigns and analyze results using intelligence tools.
Provide advisors with monthly lists of high‑value targeted prospects.
Continuously update and enroll new prospects and clients into campaigns.
Client Experience & Firm Representation
Serve as a brand ambassador to enhance client experience and reinforce the WWA mission.
Advocate for advisors, leaders, and team members.
Oversee the firm’s client gift and referral programs, ensuring meaningful and compliant interactions.
Internal Communication & Engagement
Manage the Marketing Calendar and all related communications.
Communicate upcoming events and coordinate staff participation.
Other Duties as Assigned
Includes internal presentations, communications for leadership, ELT requests, and other responsibilities based on organizational needs.
Performance Expectations & Goals
Achieve success metrics for key marketing and business development initiatives, including:
Social media engagement (likes, impressions)
Website scores and engagement
Event ROI and prospect conversion
Departmental WIG goals
Strengthen community relations and brand awareness in priority markets.
Generate high-quality leads for advisors and support sustained firm growth.
Ensure marketing spend remains cost‑effective with measurable ROI.
Execute client gift programs efficiently and in line with compliance requirements.
Deliver exceptional service to advisors and clients.
Adhere to all state/federal regulations and internal policies.
Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, punctuality, and adherence to the Employee Handbook and Code of Ethics.

Education & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of two years of marketing and/or business development experience.
Experience in event planning, PR, journalism, editing/proofing, and social media management.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and learn new systems quickly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
