Business Finance Analyst

Job Title - Analyst Place of work - Mumbai Business Unit - Central Business Finance Function - Finance Job Purpose: The role bearer has the responsibility to prepare and establish various financial MIS, Budgeting and forecasting, Segmental Reporting as per the accounting standard and RBI guidelines, analyzing the financials in order to provide management with all required financial data, with utmost accuracy and within the timeliness. The role holder is expected to maintain the MIS system and generate periodical analytical reports to facilitate decision making. The role includes liaising with different functions whenever financial analysis support is requested and perform ad-hoc financial analysis requested by senior management to support informed decision making Roles & Responsibilities: Preparation of various financial MIS at bank level which provides management insight of the ongoing performance of the bank. Designing of new MIS and enhancement of existing MIS to ensure more analysis and details are made available to senior management. Contribute to the preparation of the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified Work closely with Technology to ensure that systems are developed to accommodate regulatory requirements, automation of MIS and process improvements Preparation of Segmental Reporting as per the accounting standards along with the RBI guidelines which forms part of the quarterly/yearly financials statements and liaising with the auditors to get the same audited and resolve their queries Maintain accurate financial data and reports for submission to senior management Address financial issues and inquiries in a timely manner Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans Analytical review of the Financials for decision making Capture and share best- practice knowledge amongst the team Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders Keep abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets Create an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilities Educational Qualifications: Graduate - Any Post Graduate- Any Professional Qualification- CA
