1. Financial Accounting & Analysis:
a) Supervise the day-to-day financial accounting operations.
b) Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports
c) Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
d) Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and support decision-making.
2. Strategic Planning and Forecasting Models:
a) Develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
b) Create forecasting models and assess investment risks.
3. Performance Review, Budget Review and Profitability Estimates:
a) Review organizational performance against budgets and corporate strategy.
b) Develop and finalize annual sales plans (AOP)
c) Review and finalize the annual budget.
d) Prepare monthly and periodic profitability estimates and results.
4. Fund Raising:
a) Formulate, develop and execute a clear fund-raising plan aligned with organizational goals.
b) Identify and engage with potential lenders, investors or partners
c) Evaluate the effectiveness of different fund-raising channels
5. Business Strategy Formulation:
a) Formulate business strategies in collaboration with department heads.
b) Utilize finance tools for timely and accurate budget reporting.
c) Pricing Decisions and Tax Analysis
d) Analyse state-wise indirect taxes and ensure compliant application of policies.
e) Actively engage in pricing decisions and benchmarking against competition.
6. Compliance & Risk Management:
a) Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
b) Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with cost control activities.
7. Margins & Cost Control:
a) Review Gross Margins of each segment of business
b) Monitor and control day-to-day expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
c) Implement cost-saving initiatives and recommend process improvements to optimize
resource utilization.
8. Working Capital Management:
a) Ensure Timely Collections and maintain DSO within Budgeted Levels
b) Keep Check on Inventory to maintain with Budgeted Levels
+. Internal Controls and Financial Procedures:
a) Drive implementation of financial company policies.
b) Expense Monitoring and Control
c) Monitor expenses and implement controls.
10.Audit Management:
a) Ensure smooth audits and maintain regular interaction with auditors
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified CA / MBA with 8 + years accounting experience in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of functional MS Office
- SAP
- Expertise on taxation and legal matters
