The Role

Submarines Division is seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Officer who would be required to:

Be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex business tasks within an integrated workforce. These tasks include but are not limited to Workforce, Information records Management, Finance and ERP.

Organise their workflow and make independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to be able to achieve business outcomes.

Demonstrate clear communication skills and have strong problem solving skills.

Demonstrate skills in data analysis and reporting.

About our Team

Submarines Division is within the Department of Defence’s Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group. Submarine Division exists to deliver enduring, potent and credible submarine capability vital to Australia’s national security. The Submarine capability we deliver includes the submarines themselves, their support systems and the associated sovereign industrial base.

The division works in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver the strategic submarine capability to the nation. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills along with the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.

High level of attention to detail with an ability to get results.

An ability to learn rapidly or have a strong understanding of Defence systems used for Information Management, Finance, ERP and Human Resources.

Be comfortable and confident taking ownership of outcomes and leading tasks to completion.

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders to influence outcomes.
