As the Business Intelligence Strategy Professional in our Commercial banking Strategy team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

CB operates in 170+ locations and serves 23,000+ CandI clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit entities, with annual revenue generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion, and ~30,000 real estate clients, owners and investors. CB has $200+ billion in loans and $300+ billion in deposits, and is comprised of Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries (MMBSI), Corporate Client Banking and Specialized Industries (CCBSI), Real Estate Banking, Commercial Term Lending and Community Development Banking.
Position Overview
You will be part of the Commercial Banking Strategy team. The newly conceived Business Intelligence team has the mandate to use data-driven and advanced analytical approaches to identify, prioritize and accelerate high-value revenue growth opportunities for the Commercial Banking business. The team will leverage existing and new data sets, both JPMC-proprietary and third party market research, to identify the best opportunities for the business to profitably add new clients and deepen existing relationships. You will build, guide and mentor the team, leveraging the power of data and creative visualization to develop actionable business insights and support business intelligence leads to articulate the most optimal growth opportunities. Success in this role requires developing trusted partnership with senior leaders, and collaborating closely with a diverse set of internal and external partners.
Job Responsibilities:
Support a portfolio of business intelligence engagements, leading to actionable insights
Develop defensible business cases and ROI models, to prioritize opportunity set and optimize financial outcomes
Guide market research, data aggregation and analytical approaches to drive toward industry-leading asset
Deploy strategic thinking and approach, to help solve complex aspects of problem solving
Aid in crafting clear and compelling narratives, leveraging creative data visualization, to enable opportunity prioritization, idea convergence, insight operationalization and stakeholder buy-in. Generating new business growth ideas, and staying abreast of market trends
Mobilize teams with the right mix of skills, experience, and backgrounds for each engagement. Actively invest in building and developing talent, and support strategic career planning
Lead broader team efforts, including recruiting, staffing / deployment decisions, and performance management
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
12+ years’ experience in Data Analytics and Consulting
3+ years’ of team handling experience
Experience communicating effectively with business and IT partners, consulting orientation with ability to influence internal and external business partners
Fluency with large data sets, advanced analytical tools and problem-solving approaches
Demonstrated capability to draw actionable insights to support business growth objectives from a variety of data and research assets
Well versed with tools like Alteryx, SQL, Tableau and Qliksense
Advanced presentation, communication and collaboration skills, proven by work experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Financial services experience preferred
CA / MBA from top tier school; additional qualification in data/business analytics preferred
Knowledge of any of the following software packages: Python, R or SQL and familiarity with relational database concepts, background in statistics and machine learning and a passion for learning

We provide credit and financing, treasury and payment services, international banking and real estate services to clients including corporations, municipalities, institutions, real estate investors and owners, and nonprofit organizations.
The Strategy team manages mission-critical projects ranging from developing growth strategies, to assessing and planning entry into new markets, to implementing organizational restructurings and operational efficiencies, and more. Projects are typically team-based and include close collaboration with senior executives.
