Role Description
The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a Bank wide strong risk culture. Deutsche Bank has been named Bank Risk Manager of the Year by the publication risk.NET for the second consecutive year (2020 & 2021).
Within the CRO, Market & Valuation Risk Management (MVRM) provides an independent view of market and valuation risks to Deutsche Bank's senior management and manages the Market & Valuation Risk position in an independent and neutral way. MVRM strives to incentivise the trading businesses to implement better risk management practices. MVRM is thus an important partner for the trading business and its contribution is central to ensuring that the levels of risk-return ratios for the Bank.
You will be joining the MVRM Chief Operating Officer team as a Business Management Specialist. You will support the global cost and resource agenda for the department, working on several activities to support the global COO agenda.
You will have experience working in a similar role involving cost and resource management and in particular, experience of cost reporting, monthly tracking of costs and resources, cost allocations and use of Excel. You will be involved in budgeting and resource management activities on a global basis and will work closely with several key stakeholders; MVRM /Regional Chief Operating Officer's (COO), Finance, Human Resources and the Chief Administrative Office.

Your key responsibilities
Support the global COO and CAO in delivering their strategic and operational responsibilities Ensure effective financial management, in partnership with Finance and the CRO COO team, with a clear understanding of cost drivers, trends and forecasts Support strategic planning across MVRM with effective management reporting of costs and headcount movements (e.g. hiring, attrition, etc.), tracking cost saving strategies and ensuring they are delivered Maintain the DBCM (Driver Based Cost Management) allocations Undertake office space planning requirements and allocations for teams. Contribute to the Bank’s Future of Work initiatives and drive the implementation across the division Provide support on other business management tasks such as business continuity management and procurement
Skills You’ll Need
A proven track record of operating in a Business Management role or having experience in a role with similar responsibility High proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Very good analytical skills High level of negotiation/communication skills including the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team and virtual working groups
