Role Description
Business Management is responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the bank's mission and goals. Work includes:
Delivering and improving the functions performed by the Business Management community
Researching and analysing industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest
Identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of discreet sub-units, be they products, desks, infrastructure or control areas of activity or a geographical region
Developing complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation and plans for projects
Utilizing comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
Synthesizing and collating business insights for specific divisional stakeholders and supporting the improvement of policies, processes and procedures to deliver consistent and reliable products / services
Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best value for functions / units
Building relationships with external points of contact (e.g. regulators, auditors, etc.) and industry bodies

Your key responsibilities
Bring and utilize solid knowledge of the main IFRS + model features i.e. EL, PD , LGD, collateral, Stage triggers, etc. to be able to analyze CLP fluctuations within both homogeneous & nonhomogeneous portfolios and identify underlying drivers.
Develop solutions to provide strategic advice and guidance to support the execution of product business strategy, mitigation of risks and achievement of the business objectives.
Perform impact analysis on any new model risk tool/report being implemented.
Support timely and high-quality submission of CLP reports.
Cater to ad hoc management requests on CLP reporting and analysis.
Participate in various projects / forums.
Produce ideas to automate or streamline existing processes.
Be able to undertake analytical work within a dynamic work environment.
Ensure clear and well-structured communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Positive “solution based” work ethic.
Your skills and experience
8-12 years of banking experience
Working knowledge of IFRS + model is required
Working knowledge of Credit Risk Management (Basel requirements, regulatory guidelines related to credit risk metrics e.g. RWA, Leverage) would be beneficial
Experience in building reports and data analysis
Solid reconciliation experience with strong quantitative analysis skills
Ability to develop and enhance relationships with stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education
Graduation/Post Graduation
