We are looking for developer to join Sales IT team in Pune. This team member must have good experience in Business object reporting and Data warehouse development. She/he should have hands on experience in Business Objects 4.2 Setup and developments with IDT (Information design tool), BO administration, CMC, CMS, LCM, Upgrade management tool, Universe designing. As a part of the role the individual be responsible to execute deliverables in agile fashion. This position involves hands-on experience creating complex reports and dashboards. She/He should have experience in designing data models through universes. She/he will be responsible for designing BI solution in collaboration with our globally distributed development teams.
What will you be doing?
• Translates Business requirements (Sales, Research, Banking) into low level design for universe architecture.
• Work with other data engineers and analysts to build new and extend existing data structures.
• Develop, maintain, and support BO servers. Manage different data sources and universes for data warehouses.
• Knowledge of investment banking specifically Sales and Research business (Sales Credit, Reference data, Interactions and Events).
• Good analytical skills, creative thinking skills and a quick learner.
• Partner with IT teams and business professionals to establish data-driven policies and strategies across the organization
• Research and troubleshoot data quality issues, providing fixes and proposing both short- and long-term solutions
• Disciplined practitioner of unit testing, version control and best engineering practice
• Comfortable driving development from a sketch to a polished product.
• Monitoring and improving the front-end performance.
• Code, test, and operate integration of work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
What we're looking for:
• 10+ year of experience in Developing and Managing SAP BO tools.
• 10+ year of experience in a data warehousing, data engineering, or data architect role.
• More than 4 years of experience in managing small team and stake holders.
• Experience in Development, Installation, Administration, Migration & Troubleshooting business object environment. Good knowledge CMC, CMS, LCM and Connection management for BO universe.
• Creating Repositories, designing and Developing Universe, Full Client/Web reports. Publishing and scheduling using Broadcast Agent for Publisher and scheduler. Expert in Single Sign on and LDAP configuration.
• Should have clear understanding of fundamentals of Data were hosing & Data management in Data warehouse.
• Working knowledge in SQL Server database side with creating tables, views, and procedures.
• Should be able to understand End to End flow of data. Business data representation for same.
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience with agile development methodologies leveraging DevOps best practices will be added advantage.
• Understanding of AWS technology will be added advantage.
• Energetic and motivated, willing to take on challenging tasks, work independently and take on time pressure
• Excellent Communication and organization skills
