Business Operations Analyst

💰 $2,560 - $4,096 (Est.) 📍 New York City

Job Description

About Blee
At Blee we are replacing workflows that typically run on spreadsheets, email, etc with AI-first software that brings the whole org together to meet compliance requirements faster, more thoroughly, and with greater transparency. We currently have thousands of active users from dozens of enterprise-grade customers on pledged, or paid, long-term contracts. Our leadership group hails from the likes of Adobe, Chime, PayPal, AWS, Wachtell, Harvard Law, and Columbia Law.

We have built the first platform that handles the unique challenges our customers face from front-to-back. We find the ideal people for Blee will not only be natural problem solvers but will also enjoy the thrill of discovering which problems our users need solving in the first place, most of whom have never used a product like Blee before.

We have an office in downtown SF, one in NYC coming soon, and most of our team is split between the Bay Area and NYC.

The Role

This is an entry-level Business Operations Analyst role for a high-trajectory operator. You will function as the exec team's go-to person, helping the company move faster, stay aligned, and execute at a high level.

Growth Trajectory

This role is designed for someone who wants ownership from Day 1 and is excited about being forced to grow quickly by the nature of the role. Our hope is that you will become a thought partner and grow into an expanded role as the company scales.

What You’ll Do

Triage and execute for leadership – Serve as the first line of defense for the Head of Ops & Product and the CEO, managing incoming requests, prioritizing what needs attention, and handling what you can directly

Own product quality – QA new features before release, document bugs, spot-check the live product, and help coordinate fixes

Help manage customer communications – Draft and send announcements, release notes, and other customer-facing updates; triage support escalations as needed

Track and synthesize product feedback – Maintain a system for logging customer requests and surface patterns to the product team

Create explainer content – Record videos for customers, internal training, and sales enablement

Run our operational infrastructure – Own Notion, project management systems, and internal workflows

Build and maintain analytics – Create dashboards and reporting for product usage, business metrics, and customer health; interpret and share insights

Automate and scale – Identify repetitive work and build tools or automations (using AI, Zapier, scripts, etc.) to make the team faster

Who You Are

Uncompromisingly detail-oriented – when you say something is done, it's actually done

A builder by instinct – you've made your own AI tools, automations, or systems to solve problems

Strong writer who can communicate clearly across formats (Slack, docs, video, email)

Calm and effective when reactive work piles up; you know how to triage

Intellectually curious and technically comfortable – you'll learn new tools fast

Proactive and high-ownership; you don't wait to be told what to do

Excited to grow quickly in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment

Who You’ll Work With & Learn From

You will work directly and daily with Blee’s Head of Ops & Product and our CEO in tight collaboration with rest of the Blee team. This role gives you front-row seat to how a fast-scaling, venture-backed company is built.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in operations, business analytics, or a similar high-output role

Based in NYC (preferred)

Benefits

Competitive salary and equity package

Fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance

Free access to OneMedical

Short and long-term disability insurance

Company-paid life insurance

Company-sponsored 401k

Unlimited PTO (with mandatory 15 days off)

Financial support for work-adjacent learning opportunities

At Blee, we welcome and celebrate diversity in all its forms. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, ****** orientation, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
