BUSINESS OPERATIONS LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
Location: Bengaluru
Team: Legal India supporting COO/GBL functions
Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Support business operation functions in India, China and Philippines – Facility, Security, Mobility, CISO, Business Continuity, leases, conveyances, registrations, CLRA, fire safety laws, dealing with municipal and land authorities, stamp duty, etc. in legal advisory work, drafting communications with the government or a law enforcement authority, support on lease agreement, divestments/sale agreements.
• Audit licenses and approvals, NOCs for utility services, Fire NOCs, etc. and advise accordingly.
• Audit business compliance through third party compliance tool.
• Identify emerging risks, support process design, policy drafting/reviews.
• Evaluate new regulations in the context of Wipro services and operations.
• Resolve disputes and assist the central litigation team.
