Your New Role
We’re looking for a Business Performance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping how performance, insights and operating rhythms support the success of our Member Growth Division.
This is a high‑impact role sitting at the intersection of performance reporting, business operations and change enablement. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders to translate complex data into compelling insights, support executive and Board forums, and help embed ways of working that enable smarter, faster decision‑making.
If you enjoy variety, influence and seeing your work directly shape strategic outcomes, this role will suit you perfectly.
In this role, you will:
Own divisional performance reporting, delivering timely, high‑quality insights across monthly, quarterly and executive forums
Prepare executive and Board‑level materials, translating complex data and initiative outcomes into clear, compelling narratives
Identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities, providing forward‑looking insights and recommendations for action
Coordinate key leadership forums, ensuring strong agendas, clear outcomes and disciplined action tracking
Strengthen planning and operating rhythms across the division, improving alignment to enterprise priorities
Support operating model and change initiatives, clarifying roles, processes and ways of working
Champion continuous improvement, removing friction and improving day‑to‑day operational effectiveness
Work closely with partners across Finance, Strategy & Transformation, Risk, Analytics and People & Workplace
How do you exceed our expectations?
You’re someone who combines analytical thinking with strong storytelling and stakeholder influence.
You’ll also bring:
Exceptional written and verbal communication, with experience creating executive‑ready materials
The ability to interpret data, spot insights and craft clear recommendations
Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills across senior stakeholders
A structured, organised approach, with comfort working in ambiguity
Employee Experience
We understand that not everyone works in the same ways. We value flexibility and know that it helps you manage work and life.
Why you’ll love working at Aware Super:
Have a super impact: You’ll think big and care deeply to help more Australians live their best lives in retirement.
Be part of something super unique: You’ll work to reshape super and retirement. We’ll invest in your growth and give you the opportunity to work on career-defining projects.
Work with super humans: You’ll work hard and innovate, but also have some fun along the way.
Feel super cared for: We’ll support your wellbeing today, as well as in the future. Enjoy a health & fitness reimbursement, work from home technology reimbursement, salary continuance insurance and organisation-wide meeting free zones.
The Aware Super difference
