Location- Mumbai, India
Role Description
The Business Product specialist will be responsible for product strategy for custody and FA and work with regional and global product and IT teams to deliver the client, regulatory & operational requirements. The person should have a good knowledge of Custody and Fund Services product and regulatory requirements for India and should be able to articulate the requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Product Development – Work towards bringing new products in co-ordination with the regional team to enhance DB’s offering capability within Securities Services. Governance of existing products
• Thorough understanding of market regulations, processes and framework.
• Preparation and maintenance of all product related notes, market changes, etc.
• Communication to internal & external stakeholders on all market related changes in regulation, processes, benchmarking and other reports as may be required from time to time
• Market Advocacy – Liaising with Market regulator and Infrastructure Institutions & Intermediaries to bring in new products, or regulatory changes or process efficiency in line with global trends which would make India a better and efficient market on par with global major markets
• Support Sales and Relationship Team , in RfP , any due diligence questionnaires from clients, responding to client queries and participate in client calls apprising them of the
• Run strategic Initiatives for the team
Your Skills And Experience
• Knowledge of Securities Market functioning with special knowledge of India Capital Market and Banking
• Basic knowledge of Custodian and Fund Services framework
• Experience of 8-10 + years in the Capital market
• Functional Knowledge of different IT enhancements taking place in the Industry or New technology being deployed in the market space to create efficiency, front to back connectivity etc. in Securities Services (both Custody and Fund Services)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
