Job Title - Business Product Specialist, AVP
Location - Mumbai
[Role Description]
A brief description of the role is as below:
Develop and manage a strong mutually rewarding relationship with the Partner Insurance Companies (Life and Non-life) 4 Bancassurance partners & managing Insurance business to achieve the Insurance budgets. Development of strong and differentiated product proposition and brand identity.- Focus on launching digital buying journey. Launch best in Industry product specific rewards and recognition program. Maintaining strong focus on competitor activity and take proactive steps to counter them. Enhance product profitability by liaising effectively with Partner Insurance Companies for best of training and marketing support. Control and periodically check operational risks and workflow in conjunction with operations. Ensure the implementation of appropriate systems and operational procedures to support insurance sales, track MIS and profitability. Ensure IRDA regulatory reporting timely happens for all insurance companies and ensure we have adequate no of SPs for soliciting insurance. Complaint Management- Ensuring insurance complaints are addressed within defined TAT by the regulator.
Ensure renewal retention rates for the portfolio – Managing renewals of Life, Health & GI . sending timely reminders and managing persistency of policies.
Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as DB internal policies
Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities
Perform job duties with diligence, contribute to efforts as an individual or as a team member so as to avoid any actual or potential legal sanctions, regulatory penalties, material financial loss, or adverse reputational impact on the Bank
