Job Title- Global Cash, Surveillance and Messaging Operations Divisional Risk and Control Analyst
Location- Bangalore
Role Description
The Corporate Bank Global Cash, Surveillance and Messaging Operations Risk & Control Team is responsible for supporting Operations with first line operational risk management across Operations. Current activities include pro-active 1st Line operational risk management, active monitoring of the findings portfolio, pro-active remediation of issues and ensuring adherence to regulatory and DB minimum standards.
The Risk and Control Team performs a critical function and joining the team will provide an opportunity to develop analytical, project management and governance skills and build relationships across Operations, Technology, the Corporate Bank business and 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence functions.

Your key responsibilities
• Monitoring of the findings portfolio and keep oversight over timely, accurate and complete execution of finding lifecycle events in accordance with the Findings Management methodology to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Support the GCSMO vendor management and Intra-Group Outsourcing agenda. Implement a strict governance over the transition methodology. Provide support to the Service Relationship Owners with regards to migration of all business or transaction related tasks. Manage the end-to-end internal vendor screening process including coordination with relevant Risk Type Controllers (RTCs) to ensure timely execution of all the relevant assessments.
• Drive the comprehensive risk reporting for GCSMO including monitoring, documenting and communicating control environment status against SLAs, Risk Type Controllers and audit requirements.
• Proactively question and challenge Operations to identify areas of potential weakness.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Operations teams and its management to build an effective partnership to reduce operational risks across the organisation.
Your skills and experience
• Strong vendor risk management experience with an exposure to control practices and change
• Risk Type Controller assessments or Group Audit experience preferred
• Good understanding of front to back end processes and applications, ideally in payments and end to end Corporate Bank Operations
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organisational and interpersonal skills and innovative mind-set
• Ability to remain objective and to independently raise areas of operational risk exposure, while maintaining an effective working relationship with the line and other areas within DB
