About our opportunity

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Support Lead to join our Cultural Services Department at North Lakes.

Our Cultural Services Department comprises Galleries, Heritage and Museums, Libraries and Cultural Activation, with more than 220 passionate staff employed across our 16 venues throughout the region!

Reporting directly to the Manager, Cultural Services, you will lead a small team to deliver high level administrative support across the Department…this will include:

Preparing business documents and undertaking research to support the Manager

Supporting operational planning, risk/disaster management, people and culture, workplace health and safety and business continuity

Oversee the administration of casual team member operations to libraries, galleries and museums

Support asset management, including defects, capital improvement planning and capital and operational project budget development

Manage incoming and outgoing communications where required

About you

You will have a strong background in administration practices and excellent communication skills…which will be fundamental in fostering collaboration, engagement, and accountability within our team.

You will hold a current Qld Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or be eligible and willing to obtain prior to commencement.
