About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Business Support Lead to join our City Safety & Health team. If you're passionate about people, processes and performance, this could be the perfect fit.
In this newly created role, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of our Business Support Officers, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality administrative and operational support.
You’ll play a key role in fostering a positive, high-performing team culture, while identifying opportunities to streamline systems and improve service delivery.
Working closely with the Coordinator Business Support, you’ll help drive continuous improvement by delegating tasks, monitoring team performance, and supporting enhancements in operational efficiency, data accuracy and customer experience.
This is a full-time permanent role at our Civic Centre in Wantirna South, a short walk to the Knox Shopping precinct. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.
This is a Band 6 classified role. Remuneration will be $+5,488.6+ to $104,288.00 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will bring to this role
The key selection criteria for this role are:
Demonstrated experience in leading, developing, and motivating teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with the ability to create a positive, engaged, and productive team culture
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review, implement, and enhance operational systems and administrative processes, improving efficiency, streamlining workflows, and optimising overall service delivery
A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service across multiple channels, with the ability to manage escalated enquiries, address complex issues and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints
Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance customer experience and build positive relationships
Experience in a regulatory and compliance role within local government is preferred, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with TRIM and Infor Pathway
