(Finance & Reporting)

Location – Parramatta, Hybrid

Employment type – Temporary Part-Time (21 hours per week) for 12 months

Salary – $84,659 to $92,701 per annum pro rata plus superannuation

Your role

In this role, you’ll support the financial oversight of the Talent Acquisition function, providing clear visibility of recruitment-related spend. Working closely with the Director, you’ll track monthly expenditure, identify changes or emerging trends, and help enable informed budget management.

You’ll ensure recruitment invoices are processed accurately and on time, while also delivering regular reporting and insights to keep the leadership team informed about where spend is occurring.

This is a part-time opportunity (3 days per week), with flexibility around working days and strong work-from-home arrangements, making it well suited to someone looking for balance and flexibility.

What you’ll do

As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will coordinate, track, and report on recruitment-related expenditure across a range of vendors.

Key responsibilities include managing invoice processing to ensure accuracy and timely payment, while maintaining a clear view of total spend across the function. You’ll prepare regular reports that highlight spending patterns, changes or increases, and support discussions with the Director and wider leadership team.

You’ll attend monthly finance meetings and work closely with stakeholders to gather, validate, and interpret information that supports reporting, budgeting, and financial oversight.

What we’re looking for

Experience supporting financial processes such as invoice management, accounts payable, or expenditure tracking, with a focus on accurate reporting and oversight.
Confidence working with numbers, including tracking spend and allocating costs.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply processes and rules accurately.
Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to analyse data and present clear, simple reporting to support decision-making.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance and other teams.
Comfortable working across multiple systems (including finance and expense tools as well as record-keeping systems) and quick to learn new systems.
Basic to intermediate Excel skills, particularly in tracking, organising, and reconciling expenditure-related data.
