About the ICAC
The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is an independent statutory body established to promote integrity within South Australian public administration. ICAC investigates reports of corruption within public administration and prevents corruption by undertaking evaluations of the practices, policies and procedures of public agencies. ICAC also delivers education programs which guide the conduct of public officers in the South Australian public sector.

About the Role
Working as an integral member of the Corporate Services section, and reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the Business Support Officer plays a pivotal role in providing efficient, accurate and broad administrative support to the Corporate Services Section of ICAC. This administrative support includes, but is not limited to, invoice processing, facilities management support, contractor coordination, ordering of stationery and supplies and administrative support as required to the Director and four Managers within the Section. The Business Support Officer shows initiative in supporting the Commission, working across a range of tasks, demonstrating attention to detail and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

You bring a strong customer-service mindset, manage competing priorities with confidence, and provide accurate, timely and discreet support to a range of stakeholders, including senior managers. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team, you adapt easily to changing demands and take pride in delivering high-quality administrative outcomes aligned with the values of the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:
Previous experience providing administrative support in a busy office environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Proven capability to ensure accuracy and timeliness when entering, managing and tracking information within business systems.
Experience working with corporate systems and databases, and the ability to quickly learn new systems (experience with Objective and Basware is highly regarded).
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including the ability to produce clear, well-formatted and professional documents.
Sound organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously, plan workload effectively and follow established procedures.
An understanding of the importance of records management, confidentiality, tact and discretion in a sensitive working environment.
A strong customer-focused approach, with initiative, common sense and a willingness to support colleagues across a range of tasks.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Personal qualities including integrity, resilience, flexibility, teamwork and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
