Job Description
The Business Support Officer – Community Wellbeing provides administrative and operational support to the Manager, leadership team and Community Wellbeing department. You will coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure all correspondence and documentation are accurate and professionally presented. This role is central to maintaining smooth day to day operations and supporting the delivery of high-quality services to the community.
Beyond administrative tasks, you will contribute to departmental projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and processes run efficiently. This includes assisting with service reviews, identifying and implementing improvements to systems and workflows, and supporting organisational change projects. You will also maintain accurate records, monitor customer requests, and help ensure that customer-focused practices are embedded across all activities.
This is a full-time permanent position (38 hours per week).
This is a Band 5 role with a salary range between $80,490 and $89,430 per annum, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
Strong administrative experience, including diary management and meeting coordination.
Ability to draft, proofread, and format professional documents and correspondence.
Excellent customer service skills with experience managing complex enquiries and complaints.
Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
Ability to monitor and track requests, ensuring timely completion and updates.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and support departmental goals.
High level of adaptability and resilience when managing change and competing demands.
