At Sutherland Shire Council, we are committed to serving our community by providing exceptional support to the Development Services team. As a Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating meetings with stakeholders, and managing correspondence to ensure efficient communication.

Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or a related field (desirable)
Proven experience in providing business and administration support
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while managing competing priorities
Demonstrated proficiency in using computer software programs, including Microsoft Office
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and working effectively in a team
Experience in local government and a solid understanding of Development Services activities are desirable qualities that will set you apart.

Interview date: Interviews will be facilitated with 2 weeks of closing date.
Package: $67,000- $71,500 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
Hours of work: Permanent full time 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flex time arrangement.
