ASIC is seeking experienced Business Support Officers to support the work of the Enforcement and Compliance group.

The team
ASIC's Enforcement and Compliance Group (ECG) is responsible for the conduct of ASIC's initial inquiries, compliance and enforcement work across all sectors excluding markets. The ECG comprises Investigation and Enforcement Action, Enforcement Inquiries and Compliance, Enforcement (Evidence) Services and Enforcement Policy and Practice.
The role
As a Business Support Officer, you will undertake a range of duties that support the efficient delivery of enforcement outcomes. This includes:
Preparing documentation and correspondence, including briefs to Counsel, proof-reading transcripts and organising search warrant logistics
Project coordination support on a range of complex regulatory investigations and litigated matters
Matter and document management
Coordinating case management progress meetings and drafting and circulating agenda and minutes
You will also be required to perform a core set of administrative duties, including:
Credit card acquittals
Travel bookings
Compiling electronic and hard copy briefs
Procurement assistance
Mailouts and courier coordination
Induction and system use support for new team members
Ad-hoc duties as required to support the team
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with advanced planning skills who can efficiently manage multiple priorities. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders ensures you can meet complex requests with competing deadlines.
You will demonstrate strong initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to contribute to investigations and process improvements and process efficiency. Proficiency in software applications, including the MS suite (particularly Excel) and databases is essential. Experience with CRM systems is also highly desirable.
