The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Business Support Officer to provide a critical role within Justice Health.
About the Business Unit
Justice Health looks after the delivery of primary health, primary mental health and specialist forensic mental health services for people in Victorian prisons and young people in custodial centres. In Victoria, health services to people in adult correctional and youth justice facilities are delivered by both public and private providers.
About the Role
The Business Support Officer, reporting directly to the General Manager, Clinical Governance, provides administrative support to the Justice Health unit. This role is responsible for coordinating meetings including scheduling, distribution of meeting papers, preparation of agendas, minute taking and tracking of action items.
The Business Support Officer will also be responsible for ad hoc administrative support to the Clinical Governance team and will be responsible for the management of notifiable incidents reporting and complaint activity and tracking correspondence.
Some of your duties will include:
Providing administrative support to Justice Health, including the Clinical Governance team
Providing secretariat support in meetings/workshops including minute taking, follow-up action items, and recording key decisions
Managing assigned projects, including monitoring work against timelines, and reporting of statuses

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in similar administrative roles in Victorian Government, or a similar environment, is highly desirable.
