Job Description
Support the Finance Business Partner team to deliver end-to-end financial and administrative services for research activities across Metro South Health. You'll apply core accounting principles to ensure research funds are accurately planned, recorded, and reported, while translating complex funding rules and contracts into clear, practical advice for non-finance stakeholders. Working closely with researchers and clinical teams, you'll provide financial insights, maintain data integrity, support budgeting and reporting, and help optimise research financial outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.
About You:
You are a detail-oriented finance professional who can translate complex research funding and financial requirements into clear, practical support for diverse stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
Experience with SAP (or similar) and data analysis/reporting
Ability to interpret contracts and funding rules
Excellent communication skills with non-finance stakeholders
