What you will be doing:
Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects and for maintaining Client Relationship.
Projects may be focused on development of new or upgraded products and services, internal information system-specific projects that may involve development or enhancement of internal applications, technology integration and/or infrastructure environment build-out, delivery by service teams for outsourced solutions to external clients or delivery of new or enhanced products and/or services to improve customer satisfaction through use of technology.
Act as initial point of contact for user support queries, responding to support queries where possible
Participates in discussions to identify root causes of business or technical problems
Assist with the identification of system bugs/enhancements & perform write ups. Work with Technology and Business teams to ensure awareness & assign appropriate business priority levels. Establish workaround if needed.
Design and write reports to extract data from databases
Assist with Release Testing for bugs/enhancements, working closely with Technology Teams.
Review, develop, produce and/or analyze new functionalities for monitoring process efficiencies and effectiveness as applicable
Assist users with post implementation issues
Assist in analyzing and reviewing business/system requirements
Analyze workflow and make recommendations for implementing improvements related to business processes
Performs other related duties as assigned
What you Bring:
7 to 10 years of strong banking solutions or Banking experience - Retail / Commercial banking domain in Deposit modules.
SQL / DB query skills
SOAP/API/RestAPI skills
Experience in requirements documentation and elicitation from varied geographical teams and banks
Demonstrated exposure in conducting/participating in product demonstrations and assessment studies
Demonstrated understanding of solution architecture of banking applications and mapping it to a bank system landscape
Graduate/Engineer , Retail / Core banking domain Business Analyst/Functional consultant/SME.
Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation
Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
Willing to travel occasionally and on need basis only
Added Bonus:
Core Banking Product implementation
Must understand the nuances and dynamics of banking
Ideally, should have worked in a bank in one of the retail or commercial banking domains
Knowledge on Micro finance industry.
Knowledge on 3rd party integration
Certifications related to Banking/Agile Scrum will have additional weightage.
